a weekend trip to Neiwan, Taiwan!

Yesterday we embarked upon a 24 hour journey to Neiwan, a smaller village in Hsinchu County, Taiwan.
It was lovely-- photos to come soon.
Anyway, we spent the afternoon yesterday strolling around a great outdoor street market, a bit touristy, but satisfactory nonetheless!
...and my confidence is brewing for Taiwan to really be my next semi-permanent residence! I'm excited, to say the least.
Last night we were put up at this absolutely lovely Bed and breakfast in the village - really quite exquisite - with marble floors and gorgeous dark wood furnishings, a projector movie screen, the works.. I enjoyed the relaxation time.
Today, our second day off, was filled with much 'hanging around.' We had a short orientation meeting, and tomorrow we start it all over again!
Just finished a quick round of in-hotel KTV (Karaoke!)
Off to bed now...
