Landed in Taipei

Hello Taiwan!

I've just hopped off the plane and checked in at a hotel south of Taipei City after the 28 hour journey. I'm here in Taiwan doing a bit of a litmus test to see if I really want to move back in August. Daveseslcafe.com provided me with a contact for a short 2 week English teaching job which paid for my flight over. After these two weeks I'll traverse the island, seeing where I want to live and dropping off resumes at potential schools.

Tomorrow is a free day, and then I'm off to the Golf Resort where the language camp is being held; I've heard it's not too shabby.

I can't explain the overwhelming sense of relief I have to be out and about again (aka not in the USofA..)
